As the validation checks on this page would suggest, softcoded aims for broad, cross-browser support. Not all browsers support Cascading Style Sheets, specifically, Netscape versions prior to 6. Internet Explorer 4 offers some support but you'll do better with version 5 or higher. Currently, the Mozilla Firefox browser gives the best support. Upgrades for the major browsers are available at no charge.
The development and maintenance advantages of using CSS are too great to be ignored. Developing to support the small percentage of browsers that are not CSS enabled does not make financial sense. For this reason, browsers that do not implement CSS are not supported by this site.
